Sodexo Global Home Care is currently searching for a Senior Finance Manager, Worldwide Home Care to work from our Irvine, California location. This person will report to the CFO Worldwide Home Care.
This role actively participates in the development of the Strategic Plan of the organization. She/he is a valued business partner within the company and therefore delivers operational support to improve performance and to seize new business opportunities.
The role provides both operational and programmatic support to the organization including operations analysis, budget and planning and project management. Assists in leadership of finance teams in 13 global locations across 4 continents.
The successful candidate will be someone who is comfortable working with different cultures. The Senior Finance Manager will relate business goals with accounting/finance goals. Someone who has a strong sense of urgency and personal commitment, and is flexible, confident, open and candid.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Is recognized as an expert in own area within the organization. Has specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in finance in assigned Segment. Handles general accounting and financial reporting, cost accounting, auditing, budgeting and forecasting, and systems individually and in consultation with Centers of Excellence as appropriate. Responsible for providing oversight and direction to Unit Finance. Interprets internal or external issues and recommends solutions/best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions. May lead functional teams or projects. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirement.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
