Sodexo Global Home Care is currently searching for a Senior Finance Manager, Worldwide Home Care to work from our Irvine, California location.  This person will report to the CFO Worldwide Home Care.

This role actively participates in the development of the Strategic Plan of the organization. She/he is a valued business partner within the company and therefore delivers operational support to improve performance and to seize new business opportunities.

The role provides both operational and programmatic support to the organization including operations analysis, budget and planning and project management.  Assists in leadership of finance teams in 13 global locations across 4 continents.

The successful candidate will be someone who is comfortable working with different cultures.  The Senior Finance Manager will relate business goals with accounting/finance goals. Someone who has a strong sense of urgency and personal commitment, and is flexible, confident, open and candid.


  • Delivers monthly analysis, KPI’s and reports to the CFO of Global Home Care which facilitates the understanding of accumulated results and business performance.
  • Contribute to the development, delivery and achievement of the strategic objectives, priorities and financial targets.
  • Project manage all new initiatives for the finance team for initiatives either developed internally or driven by group.
  • Participate in acquisitions both during due diligence and then with integration with the company.
  • Work to find potential synergies across different locations.
  • Drives the global budget and forecast processes.
  • Oversees the management of monthly close, ensuring all locations report accurately and on time.
  • Assist in the development of presentations for strategy sessions as well as quarterly business reviews.
  • Optimizes the tools, processes and organization of the Finance department to constantly improve the insight and service level to the business.
  • Meet difficult internal and external deadlines and deploy finance and accounting assets effectively and efficiently to meet those demands.

  • Seven (7) plus years of progressive finance experience and leadership roles.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred
  • Strong computer skills for presentation and analysis of data.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with personnel at all levels of the company, including those who do not natively speak English.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to manage and influence indirectly.
  • Ability to operate in both structured and ambiguous situations

Position Summary

Is recognized as an expert in own area within the organization. Has specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in finance in assigned Segment. Handles general accounting and financial reporting, cost accounting, auditing, budgeting and forecasting, and systems individually and in consultation with Centers of Excellence as appropriate. Responsible for providing oversight and direction to Unit Finance. Interprets internal or external issues and recommends solutions/best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions. May lead functional teams or projects. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirement.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
