Sodexo is seeking a QUALITY DATA ANALYST for a LEAD DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR role with our Clinical Technology Management Team.  This is a VIRTUAL job that can be located anywhere within the continental United States.  


Your experience in leading technological initiatives is what we need to support Sodexo's global strategic plan, as data analytics plays an integral role in growing our business to become more competitive, fostering a culture of improvement and innovation. Therefore, we have an ongoing need for top talent in areas of Quality Management, Quantitative Analyses and Database Management.

The successful candidate will:

  • provide leadership and support to establish and document a Quality Management System for Clinical Technology Management, consistent with global quality standards;
  • build databases and clean and analyze medical equipment maintenance and management data;
  • build models and generate reports and forecasts;
  • establish and document key metrics to ensure on time service delivery, compliance to regulations and standards, attainment of quality objectives;
  • collect data (metrics) and prepare project portfolio tracking reports, including quality metrics such as compliance, productivity, expenditures, customer requirements and satisfaction, and employee competency, training and turnover;
  • perform risk assessment with determination of risk severity and quantitative estimates of risk probability;
  • identify projects risks and raise awareness with senior leadership through executive briefings; 

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

  • a BS in Computer Science. Statistics, Applied Math, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Research. Advanced degree preferred;
  • 2+ years’ experience in quantitative analyses; and/or
  • 5+ years’ experience in database management, IT, or operations research; 
  • Proficiency in database and statistical software (e.g., MS Access, SQL, Crystal Report, SAS, Mathlab, or STATA), in addition to Microsoft Office suite; 
  • Training or work experience in ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 desirable; 
  • Understanding of quality metrics, benchmarking, and balanced scorecard desirable; 
  • Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and management desirable.

Position Summary

Responsible for quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Works with management to develop database strategies to support company's needs. Consults with and advises users of the various databases. Works directly with users of data to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage. Identifies opportunities for effectively satisfying corporate information needs through automation. Directs the maintenance and use of the corporate data dictionary.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of IT programming or development experience
