Sodexo Senior Dining is seeking a Chef Manager for Bridgewater Midtown Assisted Living and Memory Care, located in Phoenix, Arizona.
As Chef Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall kitchen and front of house operations of this senior living community which caters to both assisted living and memory care residents. The Chef Manager's goal will be to ensure the kitchen and FOH department run smoothly and complies with safety regulations. Duties include ordering food, preparing menus, and training/mentoring staff. Position requires leadership, culinary and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will:
Actions may include time management so that residents receive their meals at the same time, assigning tasks as orders come in, inspecting the presentation before meals/ food are delivered, determining the break schedule so that the department always remains sufficiently staffed, and monitoring the workstations of the BOH & FOH team for cleanliness.
This role will report to the Area General Manager and will work shifts that include some weekends and holidays.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
