Sodexo Leisure has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager 3 to join our team at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, CA. This Ops Manager 3 will be responsible for directing retail food operations for the café and the Terrace- a quick casual dining option at this high-profile venue.
This position will be responsible for:
• Financial management including food and labor cost control analysis
• Assisting in the maintenance of cash control and payroll records
• Oversight and development of retail food service team
• Innovation of the retail offerings, marketing plans and sustainable practices
• Ensuring HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance
So if you have a minimum 3-5 years of experience in high-volume, fast-paced retail food operations; the ability to work in a collaborative team environment while fostering strong client and customer relationships; a strong understanding of retail food concepts and the ability to execute multiple priorities. The ability to speak Spanish &/or Mandarin Chinese would be helpful in managing the workforce at this location.

Assumes General Manager’s (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi-functional accounts. Has direct client contact on day-to-day issues. Develops and Implements plans under the direction of a GM 5 or higher. Manages through managers. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
