We’re currently seeking a Patient Services Manager to join CHI St. Luke's Health The Woodlands Hospital in Houston, TX.


This position will report directly to the General Manager, and will be responsible for day to day leadership of the patient food services at CHI St. Luke's Health - The Woodlands. 


This position reports to the General Manager and will be responsible for day to day leadership of the Patient Food Program in this hospital. You will direct and participate in all of the daily food operations for the patient meal services utilizing "At Your Request" a room service patient meal program.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Daily patient meal rounding, interacting with the patients and nursing staff
  • Oversight of call center
  • Identifying and implementing process improvement to increase patient satisfaction
  • Tray audits and ensuring timely delivery of patient meals
  • Training and development of staff
  • Ensuring food safety and sanitation compliance
  • Being proficient with At Your Request computer program systems   

The successful candidate will have food service supervisory/management experience, computer literacy, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and department associates as well as excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills. Prior experience in health-care with a nutritional background and a RD would be a plus for this role.  





Position Summary

Provides direction, guidance, and supervision/direction of patient hospitality employees at patient care units. Serves as senior and primary representative of patient care activities. Position takes an active role in finance/cost controls of patient meal services. Manages initiatives for job redesign and process improvement, including interdepartmental improvements with nursing staff.




Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
