Sodexo's Banking Operations department in our Buffalo Service Center in Cheektowaga, NY has an opening for an Accounting Analyst. Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Accounting Analyst role supports Operators across all business segments to initiate and maintain cash management programs such as armored services, bank-by-mail and DTS Connex cash administration. This role will have a diverse set of responsibilities that fall within the scope of their work that include reviewing vendor contracts, analyzing fee schedules, drafting report requirements, and setting up procedures. Minimum Training/Knowledge/Skills Required
Has working knowledge and experience in own discipline. Assists in the maintenance of accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports and safeguarding the organization's assets. Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports. Continues to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers. Performs a range of mainly straightforward assignments. Uses prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
