Sodexo is seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst for our Cheektowaga, NY office or to work remotely.  This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and information assets. The role is critical in protecting the company from increasing global attacks. The role is also critical to be able to help protect the company from legal and regulatory exposure, as Information Security supplies the SME expertise for the controls required to do business the government, financial, education and healthcare business segments. In addition, this position will be responsible for helping to implement mandated global information security controls to meet Sodexo’s security directives.


This is a remote-based position with the ideal candidate based in the Eastern time zone.


The successful candidate will:

  • Assist with the evaluation, selection and integration of security related tools and leverage them appropriately to deliver desired results, in line with Sodexo security policies
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of suitable processes to ensure that the Information Security Program functions according to set objectives
  • Structure and document Service level agreements to meet IT and Business needs
  • Participate in monthly security risk briefing calls and make recommendations on any adjustments necessary to mitigate the risks as they relate to Sodexo
  • Configure and validate security solutions based on Sodexo security standards and processes
  • Facilitate solution design and requirements gathering for properly securing and managing applications, databases and infrastructure
  • Coordinate and lead ongoing testing of existing network, eBusiness and other third-party distributed applications' security intrusion and vulnerability testing. Reviews logs and reports, analyzing results to determine vulnerabilities and takes correction action as needed
  • Analyzes and reviews business needs security requirements relative to existing security policies
  • Support various Information Security tools and software technologies
  • Serve as a coordinator for issues resolution and point of escalation for security related events, which may require off-hours participation as needed
  • Properly document the configuration, standards, and procedures
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of new policies and procedures
  • Ability to identify and implement cost-savings opportunities and process improvements
  • Follow the O&I Quality System processes, including Daily Operations and Change Control

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

  • BS in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or MIS, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years in an information security or network security role.  Security certifications such as are a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Information Security performing Information Technology technical audits, security vulnerability assessments, system configuration verifications and security related assignments 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with a diverse team
  • Solid and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and capability of high-quality output

Position Summary

Responsible for setting policy precedent and implementing security solutions to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure. Supports Information Security Manager. Leads the activities to establish and implement security technology solutions in support of Sodexo Corporation and Information Services' security vision, mission, technology architecture, and operating plan. Coordinates team activities for developing and maintaining security operating procedures and technical security configurations for existing information systems and new projects. Researches and recommends solutions in collaboration with development teams, risk assessment managers, auditors, facilities and security departments, and other personnel to identify and plan for information security for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications, and system installations. Responsible for overall departmental customer service level.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in information security
