Sodexo University Dining Services is seeking an experienced Food Services General Manager 5 for California State University – Monterey Bay campus in Seaside, CA, a multi-unit dynamic reference account near San Jose. The GM will oversee all operations of this $8.5M+ account - including Resident Dining with over 1600 students on meal plans, the Food Retail concepts which include a restaurant, café, coffee shop and a Food Truck in addition to Concessions, and a high volume Catering operation; will work with the 4 managers and over 190 employees – FT union employees and student employees.

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.
