Sodexo Corporate Services is hiring an Executive Chef 1 at a high-end headquarters for a large pharmaceutical company in Bridgewater, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and strong leadership skills. The main role is to oversee food production, sanitation and cost control in a café which is part of a large campus, with multiple food outlets. This hands-on position will supervise a staff of 20, serving breakfast and lunch. The culinary program at this café has a variety of stations, with a focus on action stations, pizza and wellness offers.
The ideal candidate should be innovative and also willing to work with a large team, working closely with the General Manager and Group Executive Chef. This is a heavy production position and excellent client and customer service skills, being able to multi-task, leading by example and directing employees in a fast paced environment, are also required. Applicants should also have a passion for food and the ability to bring food trends to the job daily.
Provides culinary leadership within a small sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
