Unit Description

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a Conference Service Manager to join our team at a conceirge style conference center in a large Pharma HQ environment in Bridgewater, NJ.  The current food landscape includes: 1 corporate cafe, and catering operations which include conference rooms for meetings. 


The Conference Services Manager will be responsible for:


Specific Job Duties

  • Working front desk at the Conference Center, answering phone and urgent needs
  • Arrange/Coordinate all Event Logistics for Conferences (May Assist with Food Logistics)
  • Complete all Conference Services Billing and Reporting
  • Manage room execution with Custodial Event Staff
  • Coordinate Special Event Floral and Linen Arrangements
  • Monitor and Manage Linen Supply
  • May Perform Special Event Related Duties to Include:
    • Order and Coordinate Rentals
    • Provide Room Set Supervision
    • Set Various Decorative Elements for Special Events
    • Set Tables with Linens/Skirts
    • Assist with Event Execution and Oversight as Needed

A comfort level with technology is a plus.  Innovative thinking and organization a must.

Position Summary

Strength in event mgmt. skills- planning and working events/meetings, attention to detail, customer interaction/service skills

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year
