Sodexo provides best in class food and nutrition services for Resident dining, retail café operations, and on-site catering.

Our campus is growing and we are looking for a Chef that will assist with the development of our business which includes a new café! This is an exciting opportunity for a Chef who can anticipate service improvement opportunities and develop people and systems in order to maintain efficiency in food production & a high level of customer satisfaction.
Position reports to the General Manager of Multi-Services and this position is the top manager of dining services. Responsible; food production, inventory and on-line ordering, menu planning, HACCP monitors for the Department of Health and Federal Regulations, interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, and coaching 30 employees for outstanding performance with attention to standards, quality, and safety.
Your Skills Checklist for this position::
Culinary Training / Degree / Trade School Certificate
Healthcare / Senior Dining Lead Management experience
Culinary background, inventory & on-line ordering
Experience; food retail café, catering, customer service
Servsafe Certified, able to manage workplace safety
Working knowledge of HACCP monitors for regulatory compliance
Experience supervising employees in food production & service
Skill based training for staff in food prep & service
Computer skills; Financial, Food & Labor Management Systems
Schedule will vary with rotating weekends & holidays

Provides culinary leadership within a small sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
