    Sodexo Healthcare seeking a  Full Time Registered Dietitian as the Clinical Nutrition Manager (with at least 1 year of acute care and leadership experience) to join their dynamic clinical team at CHI St. Luke’s Health Sugar Land, a 100 bed acute care hospital located  in Sugarland, TX.


     Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate will:


    • Have primary responsibility for managing the clinical nutrition program dedicated to patient care and management functions of the nutrition services department.
    • Provide inpatient medical nutrition therapy for a community hospital population focusing on care for the elderly utilizing the nutrition care process and electronic medical records
    • Serve in a leadership role for the nutrition services department including interactions with clients
    • Be A Registered Dietitian 
    • Conduct and oversee nutrition care and patient assessments to the general patient population with a variety of disease states as needed
    • Have experience utilizing the nutrition care process, electronic medical records charting and prior Room Service experience
    • demonstrate skills to monitor and evaluate nutrition care services; maintain accreditation and regulatory readiness and review; and establish and maintain standards of care
    • have excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills as well as a track record of proactive interaction with a medical team

    Position Summary

    Functions as the in-unit lead Clinical leader for a small - medium account. Manages the daily operations of nutrition services through direct supervision of both non-exempt employees and entry-level exempt professional employees.

    Key Duties
    - Directs daily operations of nutrition programs and ensure customer and client satisfaction levels are met.
    -May provide direct nutrition care to population served
    -Executes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments; and collects and reports outcomes.
    -Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction for nutrition services and promotes nutrition services.
    -. - Manages employees to ensure they meet goals, cost controls deadlines, and collect outcomes.
    -Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel).



    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

    Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
