    Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full time clinical dietitian position for  Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett. Our Bartlett, TN location is a 196 bed full service acute care hospital. The hospital offers a broad spectrum of quality medical services, including the specialized services of cardiovascular care, joint replacement, critical care, maternity, and oncology to the residents of Bartlett and the Mid-South.

     We are seeking a dietitian with a minimum of  one to two years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.  Some job responsibilities will include: 

    • Covering medical, surgical, telemetry, and critical care as assigned
    • Development and implementation of evidence based practice for all hospital patients
    • Participation in multidisciplinary meetings, providing recommendations for medical nutrition therapy
    • Candidates will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills, have a proven track record of proactive interaction with the medical team and be an outstanding team player.
    • Ideal candidate will demonstrate good time management skills and the ability to work in both a team and autonomous environment.
    • Prior experience with Cerner electronic medical record is a plus
    • Licensure in the state of Tennessee is required

    Position Summary

    Responsible for providing direct comprehensive nutrition services
    Key Duties
    -Directs nutrition care of special needs population to ensure nutrition needs and customer satisfaction levels are met.
    -Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction to ensure account retention.
    -Manages, promotes, and educates others on food and nutrition programs according to Sodexo standards and policy.
    -Collaborates and communicates with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, special diets, and menu requests and probes potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate Sodexho resource when necessary.
    -Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel) by keep abreast of the most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice.
    -Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments..



    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

    Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
