Sodexo is looking for a Patient Service Manager 2 for Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, NY
This position will have a duration of up to 12 months with the ability to post to permanent roles during this time frame.
Lincoln Hospital a 325 bed hospital and is a vibrant acute care facility with a Level One Trauma center. Patient care and satisfaction are paramount. Ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills coupled with managerial experience in a union environment.
Conveniently located in the southwest corner of the Bronx, two blocks from the subway and only 10 minutes from Manhattan. Easily accessible by car from Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey. There is a enclosed parking garage attached to the facility.
As the Patient Service Manager you will be overseeing patient rounding, managing a team of 60 union employees, work closely with with clinical team. Lincoln Medical Center is a cook chill environment and each floor offers a pantry service for its patients.
Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
- Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
- Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.
- Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.
- Performs audits and prepares reports.
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
