  • Unit Description

    Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a General Manager 3 to join our team at a major airline's Commissary Kitchen located in Boston, MA.  This location manages and directs the operation of the airline in-flight kitchen. Total MV of 4 million dollars.  The General Manager 3 will manage a team of 3 managers and 20 to 25 hourly employees.  Duties include but not limited to:

     

    • Monitors all menu cycles to ensure customer service and satisfaction is not interrupted. Ensures that proper equipment is maintained and controlled in the Unit for operation excellence.
    • manages all staff of all Departments in the Airline Catering unit. This includes but not limited to: Food production, , Storeroom, Quality Assurance, and related departments to ensure production standards and customer service requirements are met.
    • on-time performance, equipment inventory, and quality assurance controls.
    • Drives to meet business objectives and goals related to food costs, labor costs, sanitation, quality assurance, market track goals, airline goals and objectives, and all other specific goals set thereof.
    • Ensures that all HACCP, FDA, Local Airport, Quality Assurance, and Airline Specifications are maintained at the highest level.
    • Completes all administrative reports in an accurate and timely manner.
    • Ensures the security of the facility by monitoring and maintaining existing
    • Responsible for the maintenance of key performance metrics for the Operation organization.
    • Verifies and insures company policies and procedures are followed.
    • Insures quality specifications and requirements are followed and met.
    • Develop Standard Operating Procedures.

    Responsible for safety, quality and compliance to customer specification

    Position Summary

    Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
    Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 3 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
