    Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager 2 for our account at Graland Country Day School, a prestigious private elementary school in Denver, Co. This GM will be a “Hands On” Manager overseeing dining offerings for 429 students and 100 staff as well as high end Catering. This position is ideal for a talented individual who appreciates working and being of service to students.


    Knowledge of high volume Dining and Catering are essential. Financial Acumen and the ability to lead and build professional relationships are key attributes of the General Manager.


    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Current experience in a leadership role in schools, campus, or other high-volume food operations.
    • Strong financial acumen and proficiency in use of online Food Management Systems for labor and food management – preferably with Sodexo systems of FMS, TMC
    • Innovation and effective leader - Excellent relationship skills: developing strong partnerships with client, departments, students and staff.
    • A track record of commitment to creating a welcoming guest/ customer dining experience and ability to train/mentor staff on customer service.
    • Proved track record as a multi-tasker, organized, innovative and an effective leader who can motivate their staff.


    This position follows a typical school schedule. It is within the Denver metro area, offering all the culture of a large metropolitan city, and just a short commute and you can be skiing in Breckenridge, or hiking in the Rockies.

    Position Summary

    Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
