    Sodexo Schools Division is seeking dynamic, self-motivated, solutions/results driven Food Services General Manager 4 for Gresham Barlow School District located in Gresham, OR.  Our Food Service General Manager will have operational and financial over-site for 19 schools within the district where approximately 11,000 students are enrolled.

    Are you the experienced food service manager we’re seeking? Our ideal candidate will be a strong leader with proven client relations skills and the ability to effectively lead a team of on-site kitchen managers to accomplish multiple priorities.  Strong financial and analytical skills are mandatory for this position. Experience with marketing and retail cafeteria operations desired. This district has a passion for introducing nutrition education to the students in a variety of programs.

    Position Summary

    Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s degree

    Basic Management Experience - 3 years

    Basic Functional Experience - 4 years’ experience in management of school nutrition programs
