    Sodexo is looking for a Patient Services Manager 2 at the Keck Hospital of USC in Los Angeles, CA. The Patient Service Manager 2 will be responsible for managing patient services as well as providing clinical support. Time will be split between clinical nutrition and patient services. Responsibilities will include but not limited to managing food service nutrition assistants, tray line, health touch, and patient service oriented projects. The Patient Services Manager 2 reports to the Clinical Nutrition Manager. Candidate must be a registered dietitian. May consider RD eligible if candidate has healthcare experience and can demonstrate strong management and clinical skills. Best qualified candidate possess:


    • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies
    • The ability to communicate in Spanish would be helpful in managing the workforce. 
    • Strong management skills, preferably in health care but not necessarily if you are also a dietitian. 
    • A minimum of 1 year of Clinical experience combined with a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
    • Working knowledge of the Healthtouch software preferred


    The Keck Medical Center of USC is one of only two university-owned academic medical centers in the Los Angeles area. It is comprised of Keck Hospital of USC (formerly USC University Hospital) and USC Norris Cancer Hospital, the private hospitals of the University of Southern California. The two world-class, USC-owned hospitals are staffed by more than 500 physicians who are faculty at the renowned Keck School of Medicine of USC.


    Qualifications for this position include being a Registered Dietitian or A Dietetic Technician, Registered, experience with CMS and Joint Commission and other regulatory compliance requirements. 


    Position Summary

    Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
    Key Duties
    - Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.

    - Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.

    - Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.

    - Performs audits and prepares reports.




    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
