    Sodexo at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center located in Webster, TX has an exciting opportunity for a Patient Services Manager. Clear Lake is a 680-bed general medical and surgical facility where we serve approximately 1200 patient meals per day.  The selected candidate will support the "Expressly for You" room service program by managing, developing and holding accountable a team of approximately 25 ambassadors and diet office clerks.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience in patient services/satisfaction, a history of developing staff, examples of problem solving and excellent customer service skills. This work schedule will include alternating weekends and some holidays.

     
    Responsibilities will include:
     
    • Meal rounds on the floors.
    • Training and development of staff.
    • Ensuring food quality and compliance with HACCP guidelines.
    • Direct customer interaction.
    • Working with the culinary staff to address any customer complaints or issues relative to food items.

     

    The successful candidate will possess at least two years of lead food management or supervisory experience with a focus on customer service and satisfaction as well as the ability to be creative and innovative, a strong working knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, a commitment to quality and customer service as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. Previous patient services experience is preferred, but candidates with proven track records of food management and customer/guest satisfaction from other hospitality industries will also be considered. 

    Position Summary

    Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
    Key Duties
    - Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.

    - Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.

    - Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.

    - Performs audits and prepares reports.
     


     

     

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
