    Seeking dynamic Food Retail Manager 3 for our high volume program for premiere

    and long tenured account (30+ years) at Tulane University located in lively New Orleans, LA!

     

    ***RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE***

     

    Sodexo oversees Resident Dining, Catering, Food Retail including a food truck, Concessions and recently we were thrilled to be awarded with Environmental Services!  As our Food Retail Manager 3 you will oversee large volume ($4.5MIL) Food Retail program.  Our campus Retail includes 4 satellite units on campus, Food court, and a Food truck offering late night dining options.  Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for over-site of up to 50-75 Sodexo hourly associates and up to 8 supervisors. Successful candidate will be a strong and dynamic leader who has been a highly driven entry level manager and ready for the next step in their career!

    • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
    • is proficient in computer skills;
    • is innovation in menu design;
    • can successfully manage a staff, be a mentor and teacher, and hold associates accountable; 
    • will have a dedication to being communicative and engaging with our customers, employee's and clients;
    • will have an eagerness to grow their career!!

    Position Summary

    Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly and supervisory food service workers, as well as other managers.
    Key Duties
    - Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
    - Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
    - Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
    - Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.
    - Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
    - Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers, supervisors & managers. 

     

     

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
