Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Chef Manager to support two Senior Living accounts in the region of Allentown, Pennsylvania.  This is a Regional Operations Support position and the ideal candidate must reside in the Allentown region.  The typical work schedule will be 5 days on with 2 days off with alternating weekend coverage.  


This is an exceptional career growth opportunity with the strong possibility of moving into a permanent role within the district.  As a Regional Operatrions Support Manager, the selected candidate will be eligible to apply to permanent Sodexo positions.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • food production experience, will be hands on with cooking;
  • the ability to lead, train and mentor kitchen staff;
  • one or more years prior food service management experience ideally in a healthcare environment or iinstitutional food service;
  • knowledge of special diets;
  • tthe ability to work collaboratively with teams;
  • knowledge of compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards;
  • the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; and
  • proficient computer skills.

Position Summary

Responsible for the day to day execution of the menus & culinary deliverables.  May be responsible for smaller units within a multi-location.

- Executes the culinary function.
- Customer & Client satisfaction.
- Handles administrative functions.




Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
