Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 1 at Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.
Phoenix Children's Hospital is a 450-bed pediatric hospital committed to providing quality care and excellent service. This account has a fast paced, high volume food service department focused on achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be directing and participating in all of daily operations in our Patient Services department. Responsibilities will include, scheduling, training and development of staff, direct customer interaction, some cash handling/management and supervision of up to 35 non-union hourly associates and hourly lead food service employees. Hours for the position are 11:00 am to 8:00 PM with rotating weekends as well as some holidays. This location is a showcase account with a state of the art kitchen and retail dining facility and full At Your Request Room Service Dining Health Touch operation, catering services and formula mixing room. The cuisine in the Cafe is very high end and resort level fare.

- Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
- Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.
- Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.
- Performs audits and prepares reports
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
