    Sodexo Corporate Services North America is seeking an experienced Resource Chef Manager for our premier client Alcon Labs in Fort Worth, Texas. This job is temporary in nature (lasting from 3 to 12 months).

     

    The successful candidate will have direct oversight of a unit where Sodexo provides breakfast and lunch service to a building population of about 1500, as well as casual and upscale catering. The Chef Manager will lead a small team of 5 frontline employees.

     

    This position supports all facets of daily culinary production including all daily retail and catering production, deployment of the Mindful focus, and overseeing the development of kitchen employees. The best qualified candidate will have excellent leadership experience and a focus on safety and sanitation and quality and standards. 

     

    We are looking for someone with great communication and training skills. This is a high-level culinary management role, but will also be hands-on as needed to support operations.

     

    Responsibilities will include:  

     

    • Menu creation and food costing
    • Strong focus on high quality food presentation
    • All food production training, quality control, and outcomes
    • Strong compliance with HACCP and Food Safety

    Position Summary

    Responsible for the day to day execution of the menus & culinary deliverables.  May be responsible for smaller units within a multi-location.

    Key Duties
    - Executes the culinary function.
    - Customer & Client satisfaction.
    - Handles administrative functions.
     


     

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
    Basic Management Experience - 1 year
