Sodexo currently has an opportunity for a motivated Concessions Manager 2 at The University of Tulsa, a prestigious Division 1 school with 9 sports teams, located in Tulsa, OK.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Concessions Manager will have direct oversight of all concessions at the university sporting events including staff management, ordering and sanitation. This position will be an integral part of the University's Athletic Administration and will assist them in their strategic marketing endeavors.
This position is responsible for planning game day operations including; ordering food, stocking concession stands, inventory, scheduling of groups for stands, managing a staff of approximately five part-time individuals and contractual employees, cash handling and deposits. This position communicates with the client and informs them of our operations as well as communicates the clients' vision to the employees and community volunteer groups.
This position will also assist the management team in other areas on campus when concessions is not in peak season.
Must be able to lift heavy objects, drive assorted loading equipment , be able to stand / walk during gameday events and communicate effectively and work within a management team.
A background in retail business development and/or marketing is preferred. Success in the position is predicated on organization, planning and great customer service skills. The ability to develop strong client relations is essential along with attention to detail and knowledge of unit finances. Cash handling experience is a must. Experience working with Non Profit Organizations is a plus.

Provides supervision for food preparation and service operations in a concessions account/unit (i.e., stadiums, amusement parks) to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through cost containment and safety.
-Utilizes Sodexo resources, systems and programs to direct daily operations including; food production, stand inventory, product deliveries, invoices, and procurement operations.
-Directs daily operations in a concessions account/unit to ensure employees, NPO (non-profit organizations) groups and 3rd party vendors (if applicable) have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources to perform their job, and meet goals, cost controls and deadlines as assigned.
-Ensures that concessions area, equipment and storage facilities are sanitary, neat and organized. Drives a Zero Harm mindset by maintaining a safe work environment including both food and physical safety in order to comply with all regulatory and Sodexo standards.
-Complies with budget requirements by controlling costs (i.e. labor, inventory, equipment, materials) and making adjustments when necessary
-Supervises employees, NPO groups and 3rd party vendors by delegating, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards to ensures that employees demonstrate an active customer hospitality orientation toward customers and clients.
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
