    Are you an experienced Food Service Manager who is innovative, engaged, and a self- starter?


    Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Retail Manager 3 for upscale Senior Living community, The Tamalpais. This dining operation serves 300 residents; and will report to the onsite General Manager. The Retail Manager will be responsible for managing up to 40 frontline employees. And leading the team with an upscale dining, bistro, and Executive Catering. Position is very hands-on and will require both front and back of the house service skills. 



    The ideal candidate:


    • Foodservice contract management experience in a Corporate Dining account or similar.
    • Experience training and leading a Foodservice staff;
    • experience with ordering and online inventory systems, cash handling;
    • excellent customer service and client relation skills;
    • dynamic personality, with a passion for people, strong plate presentation awareness;
    • experience training and leading foodservice staff;
    • experience ordering and online inventory systems;
    • cash handling experience and,
    • detailed and plate presentation management.

    Position Summary

    Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly and supervisory food service workers, as well as other managers.
    Key Duties
    - Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
    - Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
    - Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
    - Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.
    - Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
    - Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers, supervisors & managers. 




    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
