    Sodexo School Services provides essential food management solutions to school districts across the country and we are seeking a Chef Manager for Asheboro School District located in Asheboro, NC

     

    Our Food Service Chef Manager will be responsible for overseeing culinary staff to provide nutritious meals in a unit that consists of 8 locations, 56 employees.  Candidate will be responsible for menu development/updates, culinary training, inventory, ordering, primero edge, catering and all aspects of daily operations.  Will report directly to GM.  Prior school service's experience extremely preferred.  

     

    The ideal candidate will be well versed in K-12 food service operations, food and labor cost controls, while also having proven success in driving customer results.  The ability to articulate ideas, thoughts, opinions, professionally and clearly within all levels of the organization is critical. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:

    • Create an exceptional student experience through marketing, menu design, and excellent food quality

    Position Summary

    Responsible for the day to day execution of the menus & culinary deliverables.  May be responsible for smaller units within a multi-location.

    Key Duties
    - Executes the culinary function.
    - Customer & Client satisfaction.
    - Handles administrative functions.
     


     

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
    Basic Management Experience - 1 year
