    Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Sous Chef to support our Senior Living team in the beautiful Orange County, California region.


    This Sous Chef will support one of our Senior Living medium sized communities. This position supports the Executive Chef with the success of the day to day operation. Some duties the Sous Chef may assist with may include: purchasing, inventory management, and manage plate presentation, high end catering, food safety, and kitchen sanitation.




    • Have high expectations for customer service and quality of food.
    • Assists in coordinating and preparation of various food items.
    • Have the ability and willingness to interact with residents and.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.



    The ideal candidate has:

    • a strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends;
    • ability to oversee multiple dining venues; and
    • strong management skills.

    Leads food preparation at one station of a foodservice operation (i.e., salads, soups). May supervise less than two full time employees.


    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
