    Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager - Chick-fil-A at Northwestern State University.  Northwestern State University is located in Historic Natchitoches, Louisiana, located 4 hours from New Orleans, Dallas, and Houston.  This growing residential regional university has over 1600 students living on campus.  In addition to our residential dining facilities, Sodexo operates a Starbucks We Proudly Brew and other retail operations in the Student Union, along with catering and concessions for the campus community.


    The new Chick-fil-A, will be the first stand alone Chick-fil-A Express adjacent to a campus in the United States.  The successful candidate with be a multitasker that will provide excellent customer service with a can do attitude and be able to manager a diverse workforce.  Marketing and growing sales to the campus and local community will be a priority of the position.  Strict adherence to Chick-fil-A standards and procedures will be required, and the ability to train and get the message to employees will be needed.     If you are looking for an opportunity to grow your career and experience, this might be the position for you. 

    Position Summary

    Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly & supervisory food service workers.
    Key Duties
    - Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
    - Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
    - Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
    - Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.
    - Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
    - Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers. 



    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
    Basic Management Experience - 1 year
