Sodexo currently has an opening for an Executive Chef 1 to join our healthcare Food Service team at Titus Regional Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, TX, less than two hours East of Dallas. The Executive Chef will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for the execution of the day to day food service operations for patient feeding, retail food service and catering at this outstanding account. This is a 128 bed licensed acute care facility that runs Sodexo's At your Request for patient meal services.
This is a high impact, high visiblity position that is responsible for enhancing patient satisfaction, and the retail customer dining experience through culinary creativity, food artistry, and overall leadership presence at this amazing account.
Provides culinary leadership within a small sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution
-Executes the culinary function
-Customer & Client satisfaction
-Manages food & physical safety program.
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
