    Sodexo is a seeking a Patient Service Manager for The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, located near Dallas, TX


    The Patient Service Manager will be working in a new hospital with a new kitchen and retail cafe. The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is one of the leading medical education and biomedical research institutions in the United States. Clement's University Hospital, part of UTSW, is a 460 bed hospital and growing with a dynamic Room Service Program.This is a 460 bed acute care hospital running a room service program for patient dining. This position is a new addition to our staff due to volume and high growth at this account.


    This position reports to the General Manager and is responsible for Patient Services for 2nd shift, patient tray line, food management system, management of sanitation and dish room and all 20 employees during shift.

    Position Summary

    Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
    Key Duties
    - Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.

    - Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.

    - Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.

    - Performs audits and prepares reports



    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
