    Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef with an eye for detail for Boston Children’s Hospital, ranked as the #1 Children's Hospital in the nation! This is a high profile, Sodexo Prestige account and a 400 bed teaching facility located in Boston, MA. This pediatric hospital has 400 beds and high volume food court. #LI

     

    This position will be directly responsible for all daily operations, including menu development, staff training, and HACCP / food safety.  #LI

     

    The ideal candidate will have experience executing on trend foods and recipes, leading a team and food marketing.   Seeking individuals that want to make a difference in food quality, satisfaction, sanitation, employee engagement and training.

    Position Summary

    Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training.  Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution. 
    Key Duties
    - Implements & coordinates the culinary function. 
    - Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
    - Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.
    - Manages catering & retail areas.
    - Customer & Client satisfaction.
    - Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
    -  Manages food & physical safety programs.

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree 
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
