    Sodexo is seeking a Food General Manager 4 for our Corporate Services segment in Madison, New Jersey.  This manager will be responsible for oversight of the full dining program at a corporate headquarters for a predominantly Monday through Friday, breakfast and lunch account with a total projected managed volume of $2M. 


    This is a new partnership for Sodexo and the building is under five years old has a population of approximately 1200.  This General Manager will have oversight of one salaried chef and eight Sodexo, frontline (hourly) employees.  Dining services at this account will consist of the following concepts: deli, grill, hearth station, salad bar, and a grab-and-go and there will be a strong focus on health and wellness offerings as well as culinary innovation.  Catering volume at the account will be approximately $250K/year and will include some high-end receptions.

    Position Summary

    Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
    Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree
