    Sodexo's Aviation Group has an exciting opportunity for an Aviation Club Manager at Newark Airport (EWR)!

     

    An oasis away from the airport hustle, our clubs & lounges have become synonymous for comfort and elegance at major airports throughout the world.  This first-class lounge provides food and beverage services for several flights per day.

     

    The Aviation Club General Manager will have oversight for a small staff of up to 11 hourly employees including supervisors, bartenders, & food attendants.  As lead manager, you will be responsible for the club/lounge operation including labor cost management, scheduling, ordering product, inventory, financial reporting, guest and client interaction. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with hiring, training & scheduling staff; monitoring service and complying with Sodexo and our airline client's standards of service.  Oversight for both front and back of house, in addition to food/bar/beverage service and superb guest relations abilities are the key to success of this operation.  We are seeking individuals with strong communication skills, flexibility and adaptability in a fast and frequently changing environment.

    Position Summary

    Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree 
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
