Sodexo is seeking a Food General Manager 3 for our Corporate Services account, Synchrony in Kettering, Ohio (close to both Dayton and Cincinnati). This manager will be responsible for oversight of the full dining program (totaling $1M in managed volume) at a corporate headquarters that offers breakfast, lunch, catering and Micro Markets to a large campus population. This account is part of a larger, multi-state contract. This General Manager will have total oversight of two locations on campus and management responsibilities will also include the leadership and development of 10 Sodexo-paid, non-union frontline (hourly) employees.
Catering (which comprises 125K of the total managed volume) is a key deliverable and expectations are at a high premium for the customers and clients we serve. Services range from standard breakfast/lunch/coffee drop-offs to high-end, elegant functions and receptions.
The ideal candidate will need to be focused on food, marketing, retail standards and physical safety while managing a high-quality food program. Being detailed-oriented, well-organized, and having proven communication skills (written and verbal) along with possessing strong planning skills are critical to the success of the position.
While this is predominantly a Monday through Friday position with a typical 6:00 am start, some flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays will be needed.
