  • Unit Description

    Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a Retail Manager 2 to support a Key Strategic Account in Philadelphia, PA for a high-profile Global client. This venue cafe serves breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday. 

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Will manage a team of 8-10 employees, including hiring, training and scheduling employees
    • Oversees the front of the house operations for the café on the campus as well as managing a Starbucks and Catering 

    You have/are:

    • Ensure efficient food service operation
    • Experience in cash handling, signage/promotions, financial reporting, ordering, inventory and ensuring safety and HACCP compliance
    • Maintaining/exceeding the revenue and quality goals
    • Maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
    • Experience in delivering a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service

    Position Summary

    Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly & supervisory food service workers.
    Key Duties
    - Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
    - Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
    - Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
    - Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.
    - Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
    - Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers. 
     

     

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
    Basic Management Experience - 1 year
