    Sodexo Corporate Services is looking a Resource/Floating Executive Chef 2 to join our team.  The Resource/Floating Executive Chef 2 will be based out of one of our accounts in Boston MA, the Chef must be willing to work in accounts up to 50 miles South and North of Boston. 

     

    As a Resource/Floating Chef, you will assist with everything from daily menu production through upscale special catered events while providing direction and oversight of the in unit associates.  

     

    In this resource role you may cover units where responsibilities will include daily cash handling, weekly payroll, ordering, inventory, invoice processing and other administrative needs.  Strong sanitation and safety mindset is necessary for this role as a culinary leader.

     

    This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire).  Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.  Parking and Mileage Reimbursement. Sound like the opportunity you've been searching for?     Position Summary

    Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training.  Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution. 
    Key Duties
    - Implements & coordinates the culinary function. 
    - Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
    - Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.
    - Manages catering & retail areas.
    - Customer & Client satisfaction.
    - Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
    -  Manages food & physical safety programs.

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree 
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
