    Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Executive Chef 2 to join our team at PTC located in the Seaport area of Boston MA! PTC is a leading tech firm in cutting edge technology, and augmented reality. PTC's product is ahead of the curve so they are looking for food program that matches their technology.  PTC is relocating from Needham MA to the Seaport of Boston, MA.  Looking for innovation, fresh food, organic, cutting edge food trends.  Ahead of the curve food trends


    The location will have a Micro Market, Conference Center and Executive Board Style catering, and Day to Day catering with a total MV of 1.2 million.  There is no kitchen on-site so the catering will be coordinated with local restaurants and area account support.  Food will be prepared at commissary and transported to Seaport location.


    The Executive Chef 2 manages the culinary operation for the location. Duties include but not limited to: 

    • Managing a team of 4 full time employees and up to 20 per diem employees depending on the catering event
    • Responsible for food and labor cost
    • Catering Client interaction
    • Menu planning
    • Ordering
    • Hands on cooking about 80% of the time
    • Oversee the food deliveries

    This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, Monday through Friday, schedule.     Position Summary

    Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training.  Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution. 
    Key Duties
    - Implements & coordinates the culinary function. 
    - Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
    - Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.
    - Manages catering & retail areas.
    - Customer & Client satisfaction.
    - Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
    -  Manages food & physical safety programs.


    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree 
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
