Job #77204 - Sodexo is seeking a General Manager (II) / Dining Director for Inspired Living in Jacksonville, Florida. This brand new building and new opening 150-unit Premier Senior Living Community is part of the 15 Validus-Inspired Living system; offering luxury assisted living and life-changing memory care for residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s. Jacksonville is in the First Coast region of northeast Florida with the largest urban park system in the country, centered on the banks of the St. Johns River with miles of beaches and waterways.
In this role; you manage the daily operations of the kitchen and dining venues, 12 employees in food service, financial budgets, food production, inventory and on-line ordering, menu planning for catered events, quality standards, food and labor costs controls, the HACCP process, and customer service programs and enhancements. This is a hands-on position with a strong focus on hospitality as you move from back of the house to front of the house with the addition of administrative and financial duties.
Your Skills Checklist for this position:
Food Service Director experience, Servsafe Certificate
Culinary, production, retail, and catering experience
Financial skills for 700K in volume
Experience with food & labor cost controls
HR skills; train and develop 12 employees
Inventory and on-line purchasing ability
Working knowledge of HACCP for regulatory compliance
Table touch back skills for Resident dining satisfaction
New account opening experience is helpful
Background in Country Club / Upscale Senior Living is ideal
Schedule; 8am-6pm with weekends & holidays when needed
