Job #77777 - Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Director for Blakeford at Greenhills in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a 250 Resident Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located just minutes from downtown Nashville; Green Hills is one of the trendiest spots with the hottest locales in town.
In this hands-on position you manage standards for food production and enthusiastic service for all dining venues. Your strong competencies in financial management, written and verbal communication, leadership, team building, and experience in delivering trusting relationships within department and client organization will be the key to your success. You will have an active role in food production; managing the daily events related to dining, customer service, cost controls, and will provide strategic leadership and work collaboratively with other department services and several generations in the workplace for sustained business goals.
Your Skills Checklist for this position;
Culinary Degree / Some formal training, Servsafe Certificate
Senior Dining, Contract Food Service Management experience
P&L experience for 2 million in volume
HR skills to manage 2 Sodexo Managers who oversee 45 employees
Computer skills; Financial, Food & Labor Management Systems
Experience; food production, catering, retail, and quality standards
Menu Planning for residents, employee cafeteria, bistro, and catering
Working knowledge of HACCP monitors for Regulatory Compliance
Experience training and developing staff, coordinating customer service programs
Dynamic leadership skills for outcomes that exceed client and Resident expectations
Schedule will vary and include some weekends / holidays based on events.
