  • Unit Description

    Sr. Director, Business Development for the Universities Segment in the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kansas, Missouri - qualifed candidate needs to live with in the states noted here.

     

    Responsible for developing account retention objectives, strategy and tactics for the Higher Education Campus Market. This position will cover the following states: Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kansas, Missouri.  You must reside in one of these states or have the ability to relocate.  Relocation package is offered.

     

    Facilitates applicable account retention training.  Works in partnership with senior management to define priorities regarding account retention strategy.  May conduct/support post mortem reviews.  Directs, coordinates and executes annual client survey process.

     

    While retention is a collaborative effort, the Sr. Director will own and manage the retention process. They communicate, strategize and work closely with the SVP, Development and Ops Support, Division Vice President (DVP),  Senior Vice President (SVP),  District Managers (DMs), and General Managers (GMs).

     

    This position works in partnership with senior management to plan and implement account specific retention strategy and tactics. They will lead Lessons Learned sessions following PostMortem AuditsSM for lost accounts.

     

    The Senior Director, Retention facilitates Team Account Retention Planning SM (T.A.R.P.) sessions for targeted accounts.  They support the SVP’s in evaluating annual client survey results to include interpretation of data and recommendations for development of action plans.

     

    They support the SVP’s in evaluating annual client survey results to include strong sales, operational, presentation skills, proven ability to grow business, strategic thinking, knowledge of competitive landscape, solid business planning and financial acumen,  Ability to work remotely and collaborate with in a dynamic group setting.  Must possess strong Client relation skills.

     

     

     

    Position Summary

    Develops and executes strategic sales plans that result in the achievement of sales, market share, account retention or market growth targets.  Recommends and influences key decision makers to pursue a course of action based on an analysis of client objectives, needs and challenges.  Researches, prepares responses, and develops proposals (in response to RFP) and follows up with prospective clients.  Maintains client relationships and client programs including facilitation of operations team start up and implementation.

     

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree 

    Basic Management Experience – 7 years   

    Basic Functional Experience - 7 years sales or industry-related work experience
