    Sodexo is currently seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Telecommunications to manage our telecom group in Gaithersburg, MD.  This group is responsible for cost savings investigations, obtaining determination/resolve in getting credits, payment of carrier billings, telecommunications deployment and vendor negotiations.

     

     In this role you will:

    • Manage Telecom Expense management, optimizations, audits and K2 reviews 
    • Oversee vendor relationships in both wireline and wireless carriers
    • Supervise the Rivermine telecom software and G2 wireless help desk
    • Review monthly optimizations and audits produced by TEM vendor and make recommendations
    • Perform payment of all carrier billing
    • Allocate telecom expenses to departments companywide
    • Perform vendor negotiations, contract management and/or contract auditing

    • Knowledge of telecommunications industry, operations, technology, terms and equipment
    • Experience in Wireless and/or Telecommunications deployment, including site provisioning/de-provisioning, integration and operations support.
    • Expert level Business judgement & problem-solving skill

    Position Summary

    The Senior Manager, Support Services is responsible for managing all Support Services operations to include staffing, budgeting, daily operations, quality, staff efficiency, and training. Sr. Manager is responsible for day to day operations call tracking, interface to IS&T key field personnel and provide world class customer service.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree 

    Basic Management Experience - 5 years   

    Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
