Sodexo is seeking an innovative Executive Chef 1 to join our food services team at Florida Lake City Hospital in Lake City, FL. Lake City Medical Center is a part of North Florida Regional Healthcare. A 103-bed comprehensive care facility offering medical and surgical programs including 24-hour emergency care, heart care, orthopedics, cancer care, imaging and rehabilitation services. LCMC is the area's ONLY Accredited Chest Pain Hospital and the only facility to offer interventional cardiology.
Lake City is a beautiful city nestled between Jacksonville and Gainesville, Florida.
The Executive Chef will support 29 frontline associates and be responsible for back of the house operations in retail, catering and patient services.
The ideal candidate will have strong management experience and be able to support the General Manager with project and program implementation.
The typical schedule for this position would be Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
