    Sodexo University Services is seeking a results driven Catering Chef Manager for our premiere and long tenured account located in the heart of the Midwest, Western Illinois University located inMacomb, Illinois.   As our Chef Manager you will be charged with driving culinary excellence in our large volume catering department. including  ordering, "hands on" production, scheduling, working with clients to design menus and recipes for catering events.

     

    Ideal candidate will have:

    • Experience with managing, training and scheduling a culinary staff;
    • Experience with Catering;
    • Experience with food ordering and inventory;
    • Experience controlling food and labor costs.

    Position Summary

    Responsible for the day to day execution of the menus & culinary deliverables.  May be responsible for smaller units within a multi-location.

    - Executes the culinary function.
    - Customer & Client satisfaction.
    - Handles administrative functions.
     


     

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
    Basic Management Experience - 1 year
