Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Dining Director for the Forest Hills Retirement Community in Pacific Grove, CA. Forest Hills is a small community, which is home to 50 residents. The residents get to enjoy living at a beautiful historic hotel every day, and dining in a beautiful sunroof dining room; overlooking a quiet historical neighborhood, filled with small boutiques, restaurants, and grand patio gardens.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of all aspects of food operations, strong financial acumen, have an innovative retail mindset, and be consumer-centric. Must be a strong leader. Experience in growing revenue, catering, and fine dining is preferred.
This Dining Director will teach and develop food production employees in culinary skills, train and develop dining staff in exceptional customer services. This is a hands-on position moving from the back of the house to front of the house and administrative, financial duties, P&L. The position manages; the daily operations of the kitchen, Sodexo financial budgets, the production processes, some catered events, and customer service enhancements. The best-qualified candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
