    Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4 - Food for Cardinal Health, a Sodexo account in Lexington, KY. This is a 180 bed rehabilitation facility.

We have a new career opportunity for a General Manager 4 this facility. Reporting to the District Manager, the General Manager 4 Food will direct the day to day operations of the food and nutrition services in a hospital.


    As the General Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Food & Nutrition Services, including patient feeding, cafeteria / Retail, food Production as well as catering.  Account will also have a Sodexo Executive Chef 2, a Clinical Nutrition Manager, three Registered Dietitians and 40 client employees.


    Sodexo provides best in class services for patient dinning, retail café operations, onsite catering and physicians dinning at this outstanding account. Critical to your success is the ability to integrate fully within our client's organization becoming a trusted advisor and member of the accounts leadership team.


    The ideal candidate will be a customer focused, innovative leader with exceptional financial acumen as well as demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and meet financial objectives. Candidates for this General Manager 4 position should have prior experience managing a food and nutrition department and a solid record of achieving best in class customer satisfaction scores.

    Position Summary

    Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
    Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree           

    Basic Management Experience - 5 years              

    Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
