Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for a Health Care account in Lexington KY. The Ex Chef 2 is responsible for overseeing the food production for patient meal service, cafeteria and some catering; ordering and inventory, management of hourly team of approximately 25 employees, developing and maintaining positive client relationships. Will cook as needed. Senior Living experience a plus.
The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary or kitchen production background, preferably in a healthcare environment as well as previous management experience and excellent leadership and communication skills. Candidates must have the ability to effectively prioritize the workload, strict attention to detail a passion for customer service, customer satisfaction, and a commitment to quality. The ideal candidate will be ServSafe certified and have a working knowledge of HACCP and have experience with Health and Safety audits.
Ideal Candidate Skills / Certification:
Servsafe Certified and knowledge of HACCP monitors
1-2 years food service management experience
Computer skills to work in Food & Labor Management Systems
Culinary background and management experience ideally in a Healthcare environment and/or contract management experience

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
