    Sodexo had an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Administrator. This position leads and manages the strategic sourcing, contract administration, vendor relationship management and overall operations for all procurement activities across the portfolio for a Facility Management Client account in Washington, DC. This position is highly visible with internal & external stakeholders and will be client-facing.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Responsible for negotiation, preparation, execution and interpretation of contracts and contracted services
    • Ensure appropriate contractual records retention plans are in place
    • Compliance enforcement of all information related to facility contracted services reporting and performance
    • Advise management regarding contractual rights, obligations, and other contractual matters, such as effective use of resources and legal issues
    • On-boarding of Vendors by obtaining compliant W-9s, bids, and SOWs
    • Oversee assigned contract vendor relationships associated with the account
    • Maintain organized and accurate records of all contracts for the account
    • Initiate contract amendments or extensions of contracts as needed
    • Analyze account-wide spend and continually identify & update opportunities for value creation
    • Develop and facilitate RFPs, analyze responses, negotiate and use other techniques as required to obtain the expected results
    • Identify and manage the selection and vetting of Vendors
    • Participate at appropriate level & frequency in all meetings
    • Generate and distribute all necessary and requested reports
    • Resolve issues from the client with respect to Vendor performance and quality
    • Develop and maintain solid relationships with Account Team, Vendors and the Client

    Knowledge and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required
    • Minimum of 3 years of contracts experience
    • Ability to prepare/negotiate agreements & amendments, and the ability to explain to clients the specifics of the contracts.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders
    • Self-motivated and work independently to find solutions
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
    • Strong management skills with the flexibility to handle multiple tasks
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook 

    Position Summary

    Under general supervision, works with various Segment, corporate and client personnel to ensure the integrity of operations aligns with the contractual commitments and assesses the liability of Sodexo during each phase of the process, bid proposal, contract negotiations, agreements and amendments. Drafts, negotiates, and administers all aspects of single segment, single region, single service, and single location contracts, unit sub-contracts and franchise agreements with a value below $5M from request for proposal through life of contract for all Segments.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

    Basic Functional Experience – 2 years of experience in contracting or related experience
