Sodexo currently has an opening for an Executive Chef 1 to lead culinary operations for a high profile corporate services account located in Fairhaven, MA. This position will report directly to a Senior Executive Chef and will provide leadership and development to 6 Sodexo front-line (hourly-paid) non-union culinary employees.This candidate will oversee 1.5M in AMV across 7 locations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced culinarian and innovator to provide high-end service to our high end cafeterias and catering. Strong culinary & healthy cooking knowledge is very important. The ability to shift gears & multi task between duties while managing others is paramount to the operation. Understanding of how micro markets function from a commissary location is critical. The executive chef will oversee the cafe operations for breakfast, lunch & catering with a building population of around 1800 people while focusing on 4 independent micro markets. The executive chef will be responsible for creating, developing and execution of all menus. Good computer skills is a must. Consistent HR practices and policies are to be followed & taught on a daily basis.
Provides culinary leadership within a small sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
