    Join our dynamic team at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and take your career sky high! We are seeking a seasoned General Manager, Aviation Lounge 2 that will guide and motivate our team to excel in creating an excellent guest experience for our valued member guests within multiple airline lounges.  The clubs/lounges are locations for United Airlines customers who are members of their club program to come and relax, dine and enjoy a spacious oasis prior to boarding their flight.  The clubs offer premium liquor for sale and comp beverages along with a variety of snack and food options.


    This General Manager will provide management and strong leadership oversight in the daily operations of several clubs for our prestigious airline partner VIP lounges at EWR. High-profile guests rely on our staff to create an exceptional travel experience with innovative beverage and food offerings.  This role will manage through managers and a large hourly staff (food attendants, bartenders, appearance care) and will focus on everything from finanicals, audits, safety and fostering/building strong employee and client relationships.  


    The ideal candidate will have high-volume private club dining and high profile-guest experience; high energy, passion and motivation to drive a team to collaboratively excel is a must. Food and beverage knowledge and experience is critical for success in this role.

    This position will regularly travel within the airport space to support the various clubs, staff and service operations.

    Position Summary

    Responsible for general management of an account/unit providing one or more core services (Core Services of: Lounge Operations and may include any of: Complementary Food and Bar, Food For Sale, Appearance Care, Credential Desk, Purchasing and Concierge Services. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 5 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
