    Sodexo is currently searching for a Workplace Technical Solutions Engineer.  This position will ideally be located at our Corporate Headquarters in Gaithersburg, Maryland however a remote work location will be considered.


    This position supports the Hard FM (Asset Management and Engineering) Services of the North America FM Platform and supports the Global FM Platform to define Sodexo’s asset management and engineering (Hard FM) services. This position reports to the AMF Engineering Lead and executes the design and support of technical operations for all Hard FM services across all Market Segments. This role is essential to the current operations and growth of the Hard FM business. This position will directly impact the revenue and profitability of Market Segment accounts. The technical resources from Service Operations have been relocated into the Segments to provide  high quality technical strength in on-site operations of the Hard FM business. Hence this role will only be a support role that will ensure standardization as well as influence and drive innovations and future improvement in the Hard FM operations across all Market Segments. 


    This position will contribute to creation the Asset Management and Engineering services and driving a data-driven, disciplined culture that drives FM growth.  This position will contribute to the offer/service development (concept to implementation) of each component of the Hard FM services including but not limited to market requirements, education, customers liaison, defining and developing solutions, sales training and continuous improvement.

    • Design, the build and implement processes for the Asset Management (technical maintenance and asset lifecycle activities)
    • Utilize the “End-to-End” Process for sales and operations of Technical services.
    • Regionalize the Global Asset Management Framework to support NorAm Client needs and value proposition.
    • Develop and maintain tools to deliver the Technical services/offer to drive quality, consistency and cost-effective solutions.
    • Develop and maintain costing model for the delivery of Technical Services to ensure competitiveness and drive FM growth.
    • Support the establishment and maintenance of Asset Management reference units/accounts in each Market Segment, as requested by the segment leadership.


    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Mechnical or Electrical Engineer
    • Requires 80% travel


    Position Summary

    Provides technical support to the Market sales teams and participates directly in sales and business development processes involving resident management solutions.  Assists in preparing technical solutions and presentations to prospective clients.



    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree            

    Basic Functional Experience – 7 years in developing technical solutions
